We have been with pee dee electric for many years and just because we was late and had our power disconnected once . In all these years . Because of being out of work due to getting sick and testing positive for the covid and being put into the hospital .I came home to power being out they went up on my deposit we already had a deposit on file for 380 and now they are saying because we had our power cut out its now 545 and our light bill is this month is already 300 dollars and they are asking the rest of the deposit or they will turn our lights out again Resolution Sought We feel this is a rip off and unfair to the people out there that are struggling sometimes and this matter needs to be looked into they are price gallging

I live at Fork, SC my electric meter is about seven feet off the ground. I am not able to read my meter. I am 70 years old. I pay rent and electric is not included I complained to PeeDee electric about this and since the bill is in Landlord s name they said he would have to authorize me to discuss this matter in detail. Resolution Sought Electric meter lowered so I can read it.
