Job not completed. Gutter hangers/brackets not installed in center section. Old brackets removed, gutter is sagging with recent snowfall. Vent pipes not extended, currently buried by 10 inches of snow. Electrical heat cables left tangled with utilities lines, causing potential electrical hazard. Overcharged by 2-3x for snowguards. Installed 200 snow guards for $3200, in addition to the cost of the new roof. Resolution Sought Install gutter hangers. Extend vents so they are 6 inches about snow level. Untangle heating cable, to avoid electrical hazard. Refund $2200 for excessive overcharging for snow guards

Company Response

Company states: I can never get ahold of her. She never leaves me a message, and she doesn't have an answering machine. I've already sent men back there to adjust the gutter. And they put two more brackets in it. So it's got 12 brackets in that section. She don't realize it because they're not on the outside or inside the gutter. Then also, she wants to do something with the septic plumbing. I'm not a plumbing contractor. I don't know what kind of problems she has with the plumbing, but I'm not doing it. And then she has some other issue about putting electrical cables on that has nothing to do with anything that I've explained to do. And, I didn't know anything about any heat cables, or whatever. So anyways, I can't talk to her, tried to call her. I tried to call her many, many times and there's no answering machine. It just rings and just says that she's not around. but no message, so I don't know what to do. So I can't even explain to her what we had done there. Please ask Ms. O'Shea to call me if she has any questions.

Customer Rebuttal

I have called and left messages, on, Apr 1 & Mar 25. I called again on Apr 14, and stated that I had not heard from him, and I didn't know when he was coming by. I don't know what number he is calling; I have not received any missed calls from their number, No one adjusted the gutter; and there are fewer brackets on the gutter now than there were before the job.The section that is sagging has no new interior brackets, only spikes. It looks like someone started the job on the south end: there is a row of new brackets, for about 20 feet; but it stops where the metal roof begins.at the north end: there is a 5-foot section with no interior brackets, only 2 spikes; then there is a 15-foot section with 5 brackets; the last 20-feet of gutter (the middle section) has NO interior brackets, only spikes, with 3 old brackets. There are no supporting brackets where the gutter has been spliced. And, the spikes are not nailed down, the nailheads stick out. Spikes are not the best way to hold the gutter up; that is why there were brackets next to every spike - and still, the snow and ice loosened the gutter. As for the vent, his son did something and displaced the vent; it dropped 6-8 in
