My husband died during covid. His name was on mortgage, both our names on deed. Pennymac had me do a modification in order to put my name on. A year in this process (they always missing docs etc & asking for the impossible (had to figure how to get home owners on a policy that my name wasn't on) I was approved & trial payments began in May to Sept. I thought it started in April, so they went ahead and told me a credit was applied and representative gave me a break down as to what to pay in June and July. When you are on modification you can't call in and pay in system so rep takes it. The payment was roughly 100. Short. They kicked me off program with one payment to make and immediately started foreclosure. I found this out when I went to make August payment and they wouldn't accept it. **** had house fire on July 4th due to electric issue. I made that last payment in July to pennymac 3 days later. I have operator # on bank statement who gave me incorrect amount. They in turn wouldn't let me apply for a new modification as house is unlikeable. I have been settled w state farm to begin work and they refuse to accept a contract of time when will be livable or offer a forbearance or a hold status due to this unique situation in lieu they locked my doors and threw all my PERSONAL property that was in the yard inside my house and it's now damaged with soot. Have They also have charged me thousands of dollars for a foreclosure process while on active mod 12/22 Resolution Sought This is a family home my dad built. This never should have done this to me. It's illegal. I wasn't even given notice of anything that is going on. No docs no calls. Edgar told me oh well and if I didn't like it to write to pennymac corporate and gave me address. He stated he was the highest contact to speak to. We are at a stand still ,the contractor is ready to start. like to somehow continue on the trial I was on ( which was their reps fault ) or a forebears that can place forclosure on hold
