Trim siding was put on my house and they cut holds in my soffix. They cut a hold near the window, causing my pipes to freeze and burst. I've lived here for twenty years and this problem never happened. A different contractor said, they should've skipped putting holds by the window area. Resolution Sought I want them to pay for repairs to ceiling and damaged pipes.

Your description of what happened is completely incorrect. We opened up your gable vents on your attic to allow the attic and roof to breathe which is code! Your home was not breathing properly and would have had other damage such and mold and a sagging roof had we not done it. The pipe you describe is incorrectly located in the home and beyond that, it was not insulated as it should have been when it was installed. Our work was signed off on by you as satisfactory and the entire job passed inspection because we did everything correctly.
