On afternoon of 1/3/21 my dog (Bruno) was crying out in pain. I called around to find PESC lain Chlula Vista. I arrived around 4:30pm . I went to from entry (locked) , a table set in front asked that we call 619-591-4802 to be seen. I called and told my emergency, to which they text me form to fill out and fees of examination, I agreed and filled out form and submitted and called back to verify they received and any questions. A female assistant came out (5:15) And gave Bruno a once over. She asked that we return to our vehicle and doctor would see us soon. We waited and at this time another can came in and parked, starting same routine. I called back in to find wait time an female said 45, I said 45 minutes and she replied "no" 4-5 minutes. The other car pulled out an left and by this time it was dark with little light in lot. I called back quite frustrated and asked lady again. She responded that it would be a 4-5 HOUR wait. I was mortified and asked why the wait and why she hadn't told me before as we were only people waiting. She said she had not talked to me as she just started her shift and that they currently were attending to 10 dogs in recovery. She was sorry I had not been notified before but that was that. I left with my dog in pain and thankfully he pulled through but what of those who don't and are on the brink. I would never recommend this facility to my worst enemy.
