I brought my ditch witch on the 9th of May 2022 my hydraulic pump bracket broke. One weld about 6 inches and a fabricated bracket. The parts were $25 dollars so that's 1,200 dollars in labor .I was never given a bid never given a price but the only worked on it from 9am to 4pm 6 to 7 hrs. Even if they were a hundred dollars an hr how do they come up with 1,200 if they would of called me and told me what it was gonna cost i would have said no absolutely not. I called after they had it for a few hrs and ask the secretary if they were gonna be able to do it and what i was looking at she said there working on it but i never authorized anyone to start working on it. I have the receipts to 2 other welding shops for the same repair and the highest one with more hrs of work was $468.00 this is outrageous they have taken advantage of me and over charged me around 800 dollars. I'm pretty sure there $80 and hr and with parts and labor it should of been more around $650 bucks that fair this is insane .I will never have Peterson do anything for me or my company and i will do everything legally possible to warn people of Petersons I have never been so disappointed with a company in my life. Resolution Sought I want them to be fair and charge me there hourly rate for the hrs they worked and refund me the rest .
