I hired this company to do my siding if my home plus to redo my porch at my home , at first he quoted me , and did awfully quickly , said the house would be 7-8000$ to do including materials , thought quite low , so I asked if he could redo my porch which is not large , he said yes 1500$ and 2500$ including materials , later agreed on the 1500$ I buy the materials , he asked fir money down to buy the siding , he asked I give 4000$ in which I gave him a bank check on his first day here , at that time he brought me a new contract and said he messed up on siding as the materials were more than he thought. I agreed and told him yes I thought it was , do they contract went to 12500 with the 1500$ for porch he worked on porch here and there fir well over a month sometimes not seeing him for a week and days , and he did as lot of bad work and cuts on the wood and messed up railings totally , so I told him I would take care of railings since obviously he didn't know how to do , so he finished porch , I then told him I wasn't going on with house he so I'd like the monies that were set aside for house back and that is 2500$ , he then argued with me and said he had do much work to do in porch I'll give u back What I think u evoked , well he doesn't return texts and or calls and has yet to pay me my money owed , I am a single widow and have done on my own for awhile, it is terrible thst this contractor thinks he can take advantage of me and steal from me what isn't his , so help please Resolution Sought Return my 2500$ that's is my money

I have a set price for most things siding and roofing I charge per square. Lisa claims after I told her the price for the job she asked me to remeasure her house but that's totally wrong the only thing that changed was the amount of work I was going to have to do to her deck. That's where the price increase came from..9500 to 12500 her deck is ruffly 26 ft long and 9 ft wide. I had to sister all her joice jack up her supports and resupport her whole deck.. I also redid her steps and skirting along the deck and also took down her lattice and install durarock. The work to her deck had to be done first before the siding could be done.. Lisa claims the money she gave me was to order materials but the 4k wasn't even enough to order all the siding and wasn't even a third of the job. The day I started her siding she was supposed to give me the second ck which she did not agree and we stoped the job she then been constantly calling me and my home number at all times of the night sometimes till 11pm border line harassment. The only thing that we didn't do is take her chimney down n the state the chimney is in I could of just pushed it over. I feel like I should be given her back some $ since we didn't do the chimney but not 2500... I'm willing to give her back 500 dollars

Consumer states; No this matter has not been settled whatsoever, still owed $2500 from down payment, as only thing that was done on contract is a porch , but that wasn't even totally finished. As beginning agreement was to fo entire porch snd rails for $1500, but because I gave a third of total contract (4000$), which was asked for by contractor in order to start getting materials for siding, I have yet to see my 2500$ reimbursement to me of money that is not his nor was used for any materials whatsoever!
