Barclays Card changed to Mercury card. I settled with my credit counseling team Beyond Finance and thru them paid the settled amount. Paid since Oct 2020. They must have bought the account after settlement. Resolution Sought I need this collection to be erased from all three credit bureaus please. It's been affecting my credit score for too long now unnecessarily.

The original Creditor: Capital One Financial Corporation Account Card # Ending in ********3008 Account Number: 5178058566393008 Reference Number: 19169672 D3 A Dispute is filed because the collections account is a error, the Creditor closed the account after I paid back the credit+interest, it is evidence on the monthly billing statements, the credit was paid off. The Account should be removed from my credit report and collections. The transaction with the Creditor's Capital One Card was denied and $40.00+dollars remaining on the card when the creditor closed the card. There were no terms in the contract stating I would owe card fees or latest fees after the credit was paid off and the card was closed by the creditor. I have tried to resolve this with the collection agency with no response to correcting the account status. The error made by the creditor and the collection agency is damaging my credit makes me vulnerable to damages from collections agencies. Resolution Sought Check the billing statements, locate the error before the card was closed, it should read a balance of $40.00 + as a remaining balance after a $45.00 + denied purchase with Merchant Uber. Remove the account from collections and from remarks from my credit report.
