Had my Jeep Wrangler taken to this garage for idling problem. When I first talk to someone (Kyle) I told him the problem I was having and what I tried to do to fix it myself. He told me that they could take care of it for around $200.00 to $300.00. I told him that it runs fine with no problem except for what I explained to him. He said no problem that they could fix it. I waited about a month and I heard nothing from them. So I called and ask how it was going. Kyle told me they haven't pulled it in yet to start on it but was pulling it in tomorrow and Tyler Thurmond ( owner) would check it out. I said fine 2 weeks later I called back and talking with Kyle he passed the phone to Tyler which said that it had major problems and he suggested to me to take it somewhere else. He said they couldn't even start it. The wires going to flue injectors were burnt and there was no way of telling what was wrong. My Jeep ran fine except for idling problem. So I send tow truck for it driver told me it was the second car he had to pick up that week to take it to another shop that they couldn't fix it either. These guys at this shop are a joke. Now I have to pay a repair bill of $2,000 for a bill that shouldn't have been over $300. My Jeep was running fine except for the idling problem before it went to this shop now wires are burnt in it and it won't even CRANK UP NOW!!! These people need to close Shop and let the true mechanics run the business of AUTO REPAIR and do the job. Resolution Sought I would like to see this shop held accountable for what they done to my Jeep. They need to pay for repairs that they done to my engine. I went by to talk to them about it they told me to more or less to screw myself they wasn't fixing anything. They told me they have enough business and wasn't worried about me or my jeep. Many has tried to sue us and it never went anywhere. Told me to do what ever I wanted they always come out on top.

Company Response

Around October to November of 2021 Mr. Lamb called our shop asked us if we could look at his Jeep, Mr. Lamb explained to us that he recently had worked on it himself and he couldn't get it to run after the repairs he did, when Mr. Lamb called he said he said he couldn't get the intake manifold to seal up and he needed us to do that along with other problems from the work he did so Kyle gave him a estimate based off of just doing intake manifold gaskets sight unseen. When Mr. Lamb called we told him that we were a few weeks behind but he was adamant about getting it towed here. Upon arrival my tech Kyle took a quick look at it and determined the intake wasn't all the way on due to Mr. Lamb not being a mechanic and trying to do the job it also exposed the fuel injectors due to being installed incorrectly, my tech also noticed several wires were burnt so I personally took a look at it and it was a wiring nightmare from several added electrical lights he added to the vehicle. Some of wires were probably burnt by Mr. Lamb when he worked on it and the intake not being on correct can cause a back which would cause a small flame to come out and burn things. We only looked at the vehicle we never turned a single bolt or wrench on this vehicle, we are not liable for any of the work that Mr. Lamb personally did to his vehicle. Mr. Lamb is trying to put off his negligence of working on his own vehicle to my shop and I refuse to pay for something that he did. We are a very busy shop and all of our platforms have 5 star review for a reason all of things Mr. Lamb is saying that I said to him is false he came to my shop after he picked it up angry and very vulgar towards me and I said nothing out of the way to him I was very respectable to him. Mr. Lamb needs to own up to his own mistakes and stop trying to put the blame on other people. Best thing for him to do next time is let a mechanic work on it first and this could have all been avoided.
