I hired pres 1 electric to do some work for me. When he came to give an estimate I told him the electric service needed upgraded from 60 amp, electrical outlets in my bedroom didnt work and I needed a breaker added to run electric stove. He suggested we move the breaker box from the bathroom to bedroom closet due to moisture in bathroom. He scheduled the work and gave an estimate of $1200.00. I took off work and he did not show up or contact me. When I contacted him he said he had to reschedule due to someone else needing his service. The day before he scheduled to come the next time he again had to reschedule saying due to the electric company's schedule. The next time he scheduled the electric company shut the power off at 9 am which is when he was scheduled to arrive. I contacted him at 930 and he said he was on his way. When asked how long the power would be off he said 2 hours. At 4pm he finished and the power was back on however the box was not moved out of the batroom. When asked he said there was an issue that prevented from being able to move it. I gave him a check for the $1200 that we agreed on. The next day I realized that one of the rooms did not have power and bathroom outlet did not work. I contacted pres 1 and told him about the issue, he said he would come take a look. He came to look and said he would have to come back with a helper. He has not returned to correct the work nor will he answer when I try to contact him. Aug 23 is when he did the work. Resolution Sought I would like for him to fix the issue and refund me part of what he was paid. I would also like a breakdown explanation of the service and costs and a documented explanation of why he could not move the box. He never gave me a receipt or invoice and was paid as soon as he finished on august 23rd. I do however have text messages of our communication to each other.
