4/22 we purchased this used vehicle with a warranty. By may it had noticeable Drive issue. We repeatedly called the shop and we were told even after evaluating it that they could come up with nothing. By that January they had to replace the transfer case a year later we're going on five transfer cases. This time a piston broke off sucking the oil into the engine but the warranty is not going to cover that damage. Out of $17,000 worth of damage the warranty will only cover $8,600 leaving us with the rest. Even though we repeatedly taken our car to the shop it was in the shop more than 45 days this year and had numerous transfer cases replaced. We were repeatedly told that we had to drive it until something happened to it because of the warranty it wouldn't allow them to keep looking into the vehicle to see what the root cause was. At one point one of the mechanics told us that we needed to let the new transfer case acclimate to the vehicle as if it was a new hip or something. We have full coverage we have a warranty we try to cover all of our bases so nothing like this would happen. We use their shop repeatedly and we're kept telling there was nothing else they could do for us just bring it in when it broke down. Now here we are and they're telling us there's nothing they can do for us. Somebody has dropped the ball and I have not been heard on any Avenue I've tried. Resolution Sought I would like them to take the vehicle back. I have more than enough service records to prove that I've done what was needed on my end. At this point it's economically damaged Beyond repair and when I'm repeatedly doing what I needed to do per warranty and buy shop managers request why am I being punished now. I will not pay for the damages and I will not pay for a vehicle that I cannot drive.

The vehicle in question is a 2015 Grand Cherokee that they purchased with 157,235 miles on it. They did the right thing by purchasing a service contract but, like any insurance policy, it has limitations to the dollar amount it will cover. They will not pay out more than the vehicle is worth. We have been very accommodating, giving the Allens free loaned vehicles and have also towed the vehicle for free for them. The vehicle has broken down multiple times for transfer case issues, all which have been covered under the limitations of the contract. Now what is in question is an engine repair that is around $17,000 with all the work needed. And the limitations of the contract will not cover that much.

Only skimming the response; I was set up in a 2017 Pacifica. One owner, well maintained, and serviced regularly. I believe entirely that John did what he could that was fair for him and us. It's a situation that no one desires to be found in especially when your complaints fall on the side. I'll leave my discrepancies with the service department alone. Thank you John and Thank you Duane. I've tried to respond to BBC that we have concluded private party and satisfaction.
