I hired this company to come fix the gas leak from my gas stove. They informed me ahead of time the service fee would be $69 and that it would go towards a repair if one was made. I agreed to this verbally on the phone. When the tech came to fix the issue he covered all the pipes in a soapy water mixture and determined that the leak was coming from the stove itself and simply recommended we take it up with whoever we bought it from. He did not fix anything. He did not even stay an hour in the home. He did not inform us until after he performed the soapy water test that testing for gas would cost us $250 and he only used a technique I know of from YouTube. When I spoke to the manager on the phone he told me the price was fair because normally they charge over $600 to detect a gas leak but only did $250 today and the person I had out to my house had a lot of years of experience. I said that is shocking and unacceptable especially because we were not told ahead of time that him "testing" for gas was going to cost $250. Resolution Sought Refund and changed practices.
