I got into a hot and run

I had to threaten progressive with a lawsuit, they tryed to take my jeep that got minor damage from a hit and run , and gave me the run around on getting it fixed, so it took a month to get their estimater to come to my house to look at my Jeep damage,I had a awe full experience with this insurence company, I still haven't got my Jeep fixed yet, worse company ever

Offer better customer service, I give them a negative 10 if I could

I was in a auto accident on May 28. 2021 that was the fault of one of Progressive's insured, things went pretty smooth. They accepted liability, provided me with a rental within 5 days, but that's where it ended, Progressive sent an adjuster out to the body shop and provided an estimate which took about 2 weeks, it took them another 2 weeks to approve the repairs, during this time they didn't renew my rental, didn't inform me they were not renewing it and it took me 3 phone calls to 3 different people before I could get it reinstated, during this time the body shop found extensive additional damage where they called Progressive and sent the adjuster back out, he proceeded to suggest according to the body shop that certain parts could be glued back together, it took them another month during which they called me and told me they couldn't pay for my rental anymore unless I agreed to move my vehicle to another body shop, this is the only correspondence that I received from Progressive during a period of one week shy of 4 months. They are the sorriest company I have ever dealt with, they have no compassion and could care less if your vehicle is fixed safely. All that money they spend on advertising could be better spent trying to pay claims in a more efficient manner. I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN
