The facts are that I was told 1 thing and protect my car, did something else. I was told that I had a limit on my oil change and tire rotation until on July 3 2024 I took My car to Honda dealership to get oil change and tire rotation done which was supposed to be free of charge. So I had to pay the $80 myself. Resolution Sought Refund me back my $80 please.

I had an Control traction sensor defect and an intake sensor that needed to be replace on my car 2016 Chevrolet Equinoc and I had it towed to dealership and since my car have high mileage on my car the dealership wouldn't service it and then it got towed out dealership to Pep boys and pep boys diagnostic said I need an engine and really didn't get up under the engine to see if that's what I need. I am very angry at this point Resolution Sought Reach out to them and let them know there is concern on How they take people money every month and don't stand by they standards. If my car need an engine Protect my car is supposed to cover it and they said they don't cover engine's for a wear and rear of lubrication. I am very angry right now.

Company Response

MC's records show that multiple Claims Advisors (Mark T., Michael T. and Michaael H..) all had individual conversations with our customer, on 12/6/2023, to explain the specific reasons for the denial of coverage. The primary reason for the denial of the coverage was the unaddressed leak coming from the vehicle's engine (Exclusion 3). When PMC ordered an independent inspection of our customer's vehicle, the independent inspection company (Warranty Inspection Services) documented the leak (" When looking under the vehicle there is oil leak evidence on the front of the engine, at the passenger side..."). The WIS inspector also took notice of (and photographed) the "Uber" sticker on our customer's front windshield (our customer's specific coverage plan does not cover commercial use vehicles - Exclusion 6). Our customer indicated that she hasn't driven for Uber since she purchased the coverage plan. Another unresolved issue was our Claims Department's request for specific service records from the last 12 months for our customer's vehicle. While our customer indicated that the requested service records were "inside her vehicle", her repair shop looked for those records and could not find them to provide to PMC (we still don't have them). This falls under Exclusion 7 for failure to produce accurate/verifiable service records. A final noted concern was the Oil Change Reminder sticker on our customer's dashboard (which was photographed by the WIS inspector) showing that her next OIl Change service was due at 212,549 miles. Our Claims Department noted that our customer's Engine Failure claim was started at 214,088 miles.
