I called the PSE&G hotline (800-436-7734) twice on 5/25 and again on 6/1/2022 to request that PSE&G sends someone to my house to temporarily loosen the electric meter box from the outside wall so that my siding contractor can slip new vinyl siding behind the meter which will take about 15 minutes to do but I have not even received a courtesy call back from PSE&G to speak with me. This outright poor customer service on their part and is unacceptable and trying to get hold of anyone at PSE&G is a nightmare and this service should be improved. The contractor is working right now siding other areas but will not be able to complete the work unless I receive cooperation from PSE&G. Resolution Sought To have a qualified person from PSE&G stop by for approximately 15 minutes to loosen the electric meter off the wall so my siding contractor can finish his work.
