On Jan.12,2022, I went to Pull-A-Part at 2505 Producers Lane, Indpls.,IN 46218 to buy an Automatic Transmission for my truck. The cost of the transmission-Auto W/Converter is $99.95, plus $5 Environmental Fee and a $25 Core Charge. Total of $139.05 (At Pull-A-Part, you pull your own parts). Myself, My Nephew, and good friend pulled the Transmission out of a truck, I then took the transmission to the front to pay for it and informed the clerk that I have no need for the converter, but the people refused to reduce the price of the transmission as they should have. The converter costs (Also known as Torque Converter) $33.81, plus $1.69 Environmental Fee and $3 Core Charge. Total of $38.50. At which Pull-A-Part should have deducted from the transmission cost of $139.05; which would have saved me money by paying only $89.83. I was forced to pay for a Converter that I did not need nor buy. Pull-A-Part does not have on it's parts list a transmission with-out a converter unless you buy a Manual Transmission and I have no use for a Manual Transmission. I WAS FORCED TO PAY FOR A PART THAT I DO NOT NEED, This is theft on the part of Pull-A=Part. It would be easy for pull-a-part to simply deduct the cost of the converter from the total cost of the transmission but they refused and wanted to argue with me. I should not have to pay for a part I do not need nor bought. You can buy a converter without the transmission, Resolution Sought I would like a refund of $38.50 in cash NOT CREDIT for the converter I did not buy nor need. The receipt shows that I bought a manual transmission when in fact I bought an automatic transmission. It is actually simple. Pull-A-Part wants to make it hard on customers because of greed. I MAILED YOU EVERYTHING BUT IT KEEPS BEING RETURNED
