I went to pure automotive to look at buying a 4000 to 5000 dollar car (HONDA) to rebuild my credit. I called made apt. To go drive it. Got there I was told it's in the shop... she put me in a Mazda that was a crap car shook really bad when braking.. then she put me in the a 2007 Toyota camery 7252.00 price got me financing and I went home with the car and papers! I put 500 down and drove off with the car... about a month later they called me and told me I hv to bring the car back cuz they couldn't find me financing! I never heard of such a thing! In the meantime I sold my other car because I didn't need 2 cars.. I told her this and she said oh no ... she then said I can try for a lesser car like the Honda I was there to originally look at.. and I will need to put more down.. I couldn't put more down until following week. So she said will keep in touch. I told her at that point she better make this right.. so it's another couple weeks go by I hear nothing from them still am driving the camery.. I talk to her again and she tells me that I need to bring the car back no Honda no financing.. I say ok I want my down payment back they hv to get it in a check so I keep the car another week until they hv that check for me. I go take the car back I am handed a envelope with my 500 in it.. I didn't sign anything when I returned the car! I then received in the mail 2weeks later a receipt for the check of 500 in the mail. And the receipt says UNWIND 9/27/21! Laws about financin Resolution Sought What I rechearched they had 14 days to find me financing which they did not! So they should of financed the car and I made payments to them.. this put me careless! I can't get a loan from anywhere! I should of never been told that I was financed and given car. I would like them to have to pay me 5000 for a car and for all the suffering without a car I hv done and continue to do.. I would of never sold my other car had I known this could happen.. they shouldn't be allowed to take advantage!
