I purchased a 2012 Ford focus with 101,000 miles on it it was listed with no problems after we picked up the vehicle from the seller through purple wave we brought the car home didn't drive it until we received the pink slip from there we went to the DMV went and took care of it got the registration and everything by the time we got home which was about 10-15 miles away in Blue Rapids Kansas the check engine light came on. We immediately contacted purple wave and then contacted the seller it took about a week for Beth to get back to us she was going to talk to her supervisor to see what they can do after explaining everything to her supervisor I had to contact her again after not getting a response back from her when she said she would call us back and she said that her supervisor said that because the seller that sells his cars through purple wave is a licensed dealer and that because he said that there were no issues with the car that they have to take his word for it and they can't help us. We had plugged in a code scanner and it popped up with a code P0805 which Is a transmission code and that's why the vehicle is shifting so hard. The seller said that it's probably a loose wire and knew exactly what we were talking about. But purple waves supervisor is telling us that because the guy has a dealers license he knows all codes to vehicles and that's not enough proof that he was aware of the code before selling the vehicle. So his word basically is what they're going off. Resolution Sought We want them to fix the vehicle or give us our money back.
