CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

Took my father's car to shop for oil leak. Teddy said it needs new transmission gasket and service and quoted $229.00 plus tax which I paid by credit card (my father's additional card for me for his expenses). Teddy admired how well the car was kept and also offered to buy it. Nothing else was wrong with the car except transmission oil leak. Next morning noticed oil was still leaking, even more. Took car back to shop; Charles said it needs new pan and selector switch and quoted over $800.00 and still did not give any guarantee. when I asked about the work yesterday and the payment of $236.54, he said that's gone wasted and the new amount is due. Declined work and asked money back which the shop refused to refund. Also, shop gave several other jobs which cost over $500.00. I believe they intentionally must have damaged pan and other parts, so that they can charge more. My father is 93 years old and on Social Security/Disability income and this is the only car he has. I feel the shop is engaging in deceptive and illegal business practices where they are taking advantage of seniors. I myself am a senior and cancer patient. Please help me get the money back so that I can get the car fixed at some other shop. Oil is leaking and it is a fire hazard. Resolution Sought Refund of $236.54.
