Good afternoon Mrs Ho contracted us to start masonry work as instructed per her contract . She have us a deposit for $500.00 ck#151 to work would start and finish within the one week she signed the contract and agreed for us to work. She did not inform us about her Insurance company we do not do business with insurance companies on behalf of homeowners we do business directly with the home owner. We have a signed contract and had bought materials to start the job for her. Then when we informed her we would be starting the work she wasn’t ready yet. At that time she did not ask for her deposit back because materials were bought she just asked us to wait.

First of all, the basic argument is about the deposit, Qualified Construction claime that they do not provide free estimates. They advertised it, but they didn't follow it. I got into their stall. I like the advantage of free estimates is more flexible to handle for the special situation. This company told me that they do not offer free estimates and insist me to pay $500 for deposit even they put wording "FREE ESTIMATES: in their business card given to me after I paid $500. They insisted that no depost no guarantee for price. So, I paid them $500 under no choice. It is just for holding the price, not actually do theowrk. I told them, if I have no coverage from insurance, I am not going to do the repairment because I have no money to pay. Unfortunately, later on I was notified no cocerage from my policy. I have to get $500 back!! On Dec. 11, 2021, I call Joey and he agreed to refund my depost over the phone and he wanted me to send text message of my name, address, and amount to his office in order to mail me a check. But he failed to do so. I never asked them come to my house to start the work and finish the repair. To my surprse they called to say they were comimg, Refund $500!
