This company built a 1 room addition on my house. Supposed to take a month or 2. More like 6. They worked an hour at a time and didn't come back for days. Fast forward it's done- we paid in full. All set, We get a call from a sub-contractor the R. LaBonte hired to do the drywall on our addition, he told us that labonte's check bounced and he can't get a hold of him now and wants US to pay him. We will not be paying him as we already paid R. LaBonte. Now the sub contractor wants to put a lien on my home for this. 4 months later he's still calling us for the money and R. LaBonte aka Dickie, dick, Richard LaBonte still has not paid him and has booed me my family and everyone trying to get a hold of him. The one time we got a hold of him he said he's taking care of it this weekend. That was 2 months ago. Resolution Sought Pay their sub contractors. And stop doing business. Because they have nothing but complaints.

Pay me the money you owe me !! And I will pay contractor !! You are an arrogant person .. you bounced a $20k to me .. never paid my bank fees and then screw me out of even more money at the end !!!

Yes we bounced a 20k check and replaced it immediately! That was our mistake we forgot to transfer the funds from one account to another. We have never been asked to pay more money, in fact, he blocked all of us. So we cannot communicate with him. If he's worried about a bounced check fee form $35 I'll pay that, still doesn't make up for the fact that we paid him $50,000.00 and he didn't pay his sub contractor, so they are coming after us for the money, and threatening a lien on my home because of this company that can't pay its own bills. I also took off $250 because R. Labonte construction nicked my propane line and didn't pay for it to be repaired, I did, and I have receipts. He will say we provided him with the "wrong plans" but the plans came from the city, AND the line was nicked after it was already visible! EVEN IF he claims I owe him $250 for that and a $35 bounces check fee, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM OWING HIS SUN CONTRACTOR $3800.00! The $300 he claims "I owe him" is not even comparable to $3800.00.
