I hired and contracted with Raise the Roof to install our roof and daughters roof at separate locations. Raise the roof started with our daughter's roof since they had an immediate leak in the roof and needed a new roof. After the completion of the replacement of the roof the following day it rained and leaked into living room area and this caused damage to ceilings that didn't have a leak prior to the replacement of the roof. Over the past several months and many failed attempts to get company to fix the roof. It still leaks the new warranted roof that we paid was not installed properly or even water tight. We also paid 1/2 of a deposit on a new installation of our roof but with all the issues with my daughters roof we canceled our contract and the company has not issued a refund for thousands of dollars. This is criminal theft and misrepresentation of workmanship that was promised and paid for. My daughter has children living in a house that has leaks in the roof without repair I fear could cause mold issues down the road and or other problems. Business will not get back to us on payment and resolution to this. Resolution Sought We would like the roof that was installed on our daughter's home to be installed properly per manufacture warranty requirements and for it to be waterproof. Since Installation August of 2024 roof leaks more than it did prior to installing the new roof. I would also like money that was paid for our roof to be refunded since the contract was canceled with company and no work was done on our house.
