This is a massage service place. I booked initial appointment for Feb.29 at 2:30pm, on the day of February 1st. I had paid full for 90 minutes massage on the day I booked in order to get a discount. This was not my 1st time to get the massage here.In my experience over few years going there, they didn't do a good job on giving me confirmation of the booking or giving reminder weeks or days prior the appointment day. They were also very bad in answering phone calls. It's very hard to reach over the phone. Unfortunately this last appointment I made, I didn't put on my calendar. So, without realizing I had the appointment with them, I made another Physical Therapy appointment in Mid February. The terrible thing was, they didn't send me any reminder either by email or texts weeks or days, even 24 hours or 48 hours prior the day of the appointment. This appointment made a 28 days prior. Even doctor office always send reminder for any appointment and other massage place. They texted me on the day of my appointment at 2:42pm which was passed my initial appointment at 2:30pm saying I missed it. And I was in my Physical Therapy appointment at that time & didn't check my phone. I saw the text at night. Since they closed, I texted them back & tried to work it out. Instead, they didn't cooperate and telling me that their policy was to charge me full amount for missing appointment. I understand there is a a fee for not showing up, but Not for full amount. Their rate is so over average Resolution Sought Giving me refund at least 80 from the total since it's completely NOT my fault. I need the massage, but missed it because of their poor system of their services. And I was a regular client. I like my regular Therapist & hate to lose the session because of the poor business run by the owner. The owner raised the rate because of her allergy for certain detergent. So, to clean their towels, has to use special detergent. But this is not related to clients needs or issues, her issue.
