On Dec 9, 2021, I call Rawkeys locksmith to come out and make a key to my car because my wife and I had misplaced it during our move. During the programming of the key, the technician blew the control module in which operate the computer. The technician advised me to call another locksmith because he could not do the job. He gave me a key that did not work and charged me 40.00 and left. I did call another locksmith and they advised me that the last technician had blew a module but he wasn't sure. He advise me to have my car towed to the dealership and see if they could figure out wat was wrong.so i did have it towed to the dealership and after a series if test and the ordering of a new key i was told that the computer module had indeed been programmed in the wrong way and had been blown. I contacted the owner of the company and he said to me that he was not responsible for the damages bc the tech was only a contractor for his company leaving them not liable for the mistake. I sent him a demand letter asking for the value of the car but got nothing but flack from him. Telling me he was going to sue me if I went public with the mistake. Resolution Sought Pay me for the value of the car, storage fees that have incurred, lyft and taxi cab ride to and from dr appts. totaling upward over 5000.00
