I bought a transmission from them for my Nissan pathfinder they promised me the pass pre inspection I paid $3285 for the transmission they sent it to me when my mechanic put the transmission on it wa bad when I call them they tell me to pay $305 to reprogram the transmission plus I paid the mechanic $1200 to put it on for me so when I send them the bad transmission they send $2800 back because they claim they are charging another $485 for shipping and storage fee so I lost a total of $1990 I feel like a company like this should be out of business Resolution Sought I did my part as a consumer I paid for my product which you guarantee me it was good but you send me a bad product I feel like I should get a full refund +my expenses back because it's they're fault

Ordered Transmission from RTS , delivered to Mechanic June 2, Three weeks before they could put transmission in. It worked fine for about a month, then started to give trouble, would not move in reverse, Then it got where it would go in reverse part of the time. We was hoping it was not the transmission. had it towed to AAMCO in Pensacola, where he kept it several weeks then decided we needed to take it to the VW Dealership in Pensacola. It was there for about 3 weeks before they could get to it. Found several problems with transmission, Sent invoice to RTS (Joe Lewis). Few weeks later Joe ask for photo of transmission on pallet. Called Monty Elder Service Manager at Pete Moore VW, He was suppose to send it. I found out sometime later he had not. By the time I found this out, Joe called and said my warranty was out as of that day. I ask if I went to Pensacola and made picture ,that day, would that work. He talked to manager and told me if I got picture to him that day they would honor warranty. I made a 2 hr round trip to Pensacola got service manager and we both made pictures and sent them. I called Joe and made sure he got Pics, said he did and would send both me and service manager (Monty Elder) packing slip. I waited several days and had not received packing slip, called Monty and he had not gotten it either. Called Joe and he said warranty dept would not honor my warranty, and he got in trouble for telling me they would. Offered me $200 to settle, Resolution Sought I should be due a full refund. I spent over $1500 getting the transmission put in and taken out,beside the 1720.48 for a bad transmission. Absolute insult when they offered me a measly $200.
