Change the way they operate completely

Was told the transmission was $2050.00 and there was a $400.00 core that they didn't want back total was $2450.00 and told me i could scrap it for money, when in reality why are you charging me for a core if you don't want it back? Then i was told they would pay the core fees and said the total was now $2300.00. I asked if the transmission is $2050.00 and your waiving the core of $400.00 how do you come to the new total of $2300.00? He told me it was the taxes, i explained i am tax exempt, he said i am selling the transmission out of new jersey. I said you cannot charge me more than the 6.25 tax rate here in Massachusetts and he said we charge a flat 12 tax rate. I said i am pretty sure that's illegal. I could be wrong but it all sounded extremely sketchy and very pushy. I truly felt like this was a complete scam and i would never see the transmission i purchased. Buyer beware and this company should be investigated for their practices.

Thank you Katherine and Dave for your HELP—I'm a single very busy middle age young at heart woman! I own a 1998 Van "Sienna Toyota" and my TRANSMISSION went out! I had to think quick so I randomly found these people on line took a Chance and bought a TRANSMISSION for 800.00 from a nice man name Dave (508) 617-2056 It's been a week and still running good! They said it only has 74,000 miles on it—hope it's true and praying it last until I can get a NEW VIHICLE in future!! They gave me great service! Thank God for this place!! 2-21-23
