Visited a Patient Care First in Owings Mills MD for treatment where I received news of a unpaid balance. It appears my bill went from 30.91 to 119.08 due to collections fees and interest. A payment was made 1/3/2020. I was told since collections had already been started, I would have to pay the 119.08. I paid the bill when I received it. I was also told that after a certain period they stop notification to me and the interest accumulated. I feel like this is highway robbery as the person I spoke too became tongue tied and stated they couldn't get into the legality however was willing to take approximately 7 to 8 dollars off. Resolution Sought I would like the fees taken from my credit, the bill was paid and I can't see paying a collection agency 3× for aggravation. Thank you

Company states: We did not receive a valid notarized Power of Attorney or other notarized authorization, and a HIPPAA Authorization from the complainant. Therefore, we are unable to respond to your request for "all documents that support the alleged balance" etc. at this time. We will, however, direct any future communications regarding this account to your office. Please provide us with the required valid authorizations so that we can provide you with further response.
