My daughter attended Red Dragon karate in Apple Valley. When school started, we decided to take a break and notified the owner, Sensi Matt, that August would be our last month. I notified him in writing as per the contract and 30 days prior to the next withdrawal of automatic charge, also for the contract. Sensei Matt acknowledged the withdrawal and said he was sad to see us go. However, We still had a charge in September of $169. I sent Matt a written message and he apologized and said he would take care of it. We waited a week and did not receive the refund. My husband called and spoke with one of the staff members who put us on hold to speak with Matt and then assured us that in 10 to 14 business days we would receive a refund. We never received it. My husband called again and spoke with a different staff member And he took our information down and said he would forward that to Matt. We have not received the refund for the charge that was debited after our cancellation. My husband has left several voicemails and the dojo is no longer accepting voicemails and he cannot reach someone to speak with. The last time he spoke with a staff member he said, if you guys can't take care of this I'm going to have to take this to the better business bureau because it's been several months. They assured us we would receive it. Resolution Sought I would like to be refunded the $169 for the tuition that was taken after our notice of cancellation.
