Uri Abramov of Redstone Developing and contracting #NJ #13vh11393500 estimated that our job would be $8950. He overcharged us $4000 had not completed the job, and by then we had fired him. He then stole the remaining supplies from our home. He had offered to sell us an overpriced puppy for $5600 when in reality it costs $2000. He had offered to pray with my husband. All in place of doing his work that he was contracted to do. He left us hanging as a no show and I lost 8 weeks of work, (waiting for him to show up), valued at another $4000. We interviewed other contractors in the meantime and were all told by them that Uri had overcharged us significantly and should have completed the job in the time that he had promised us, mid to late October. Instead, we fired him at the end of November with the job still not completed. He claimed to have purchased $1800 worth of supplies to solve our mold problem due to Hurricane Ida. We never saw any receipts for the $1800 worth of supplies, He did tell me that he had spent $900 but no receipt. We were always in the dark wondering where our money went. He made us pay the remaining balance because he guilted us, stressing that he had to pay his employee. He never paid him. How he came recommended is beyond me. We can't find him listed in Google Reviews or on Yelp. We think that also tells us something about his character. Please help us resolve this issues. Resolution Sought Refund $4000 in overpayment of the estimate. Submit all receipts and payments of labor to his workers. Full transparency and accountability.
