I recently stayed at the regal inn and was ate up by bed bugs. I reported it to the front desk and was met with angry responses until finally being moved to another room instead of being refunded I left the hotel on Thursday and now on Sunday they charged my debit card $150 for hair dye on the sheets is this legal? Resolution Sought I would like a refund

Company states: The guest had an extra person in the room and withheld that information from the hotel. Guest soiled towels and washcloths and pillowcases with hair dye. There were burn holes in bed linen including: sheets, mattress pads and comforters. Mr. Bing contacted the hotel after the card on file was charged for the items listed above. The manager on duty explained the reason for the %150.00 additional charge. Therefore, he was fully aware of the action taken by the hotel.

I was in one room and reported bed bugs to the manager and he got very angry and moved me to a different room, I did report the extra guest and paid for them being there. It's a smoking room and already had the damage. Of course we used the towels and wash cloths but didn't destroy anything! I was not aware I was going to be charged for anything until they took money from our debit card four or five days after our departure! No request was made to charge the card nor was any permission given. I've had to shut the card down and order a new one in fear that they would steal more money from it. Also I left the room two days early and wasn't refunded for that. I've been in my current hotel and room for over a month and a half with no complaints! They are running a scam at that place and should be investigated

I have issued credit of $150.00 on guest credit card ending 8610. The ONLY reson i have issued you a credit to give you benifit of doubt. We are not running a Scame. Group ownes multiple properties in town. All the properties have excellent reviews. Its is Legal to run your card for Incidentals. You are responsible for that room when you signed the Reg-card.
