My insurance purchased a electric scooter. The arm bolt broke so I taped it and put a stick holding the arm up. They will not fix it because they say that I messed with it which there is nothing but tape holding it. The wheel has got notches out of it not just out of it. They are fighting tooth and nail not to repair this told me that it had to be filed through my insurance company. This is a brand new chair it has not been neglected abused or anything. Resolution Sought Ball a dispute to get this chair fixed this is a terrible company and rehab medical should not do people like this. I have looked online and they have a horrible reputation of doing things like this and not fixing their customers items his chair is brand new less than four months old paid for by my insurance over a $3,000 chair.

On Feb 28th I had a stroke, came home and had 1 after that. It was getting harder and harder trying to walk to go to the doctors' offices. Christopher from Caretenders called Rehab Medical and a sales rep Jimmy Takitch. He came out and had a doctor to talk to me on the phone. I had never seen her. I told them I needed something to get me in and out of doctors offices and to do some shopping. I was expecting a scooter type device that would be easy for me to haul to different places. We see older people using them all the time. This was all new to me and I thought someone would come here and help me with my needs. I think because, I have never had any experience in things like this they took advantage of me and sold something I cannot use. I needed a Mobility Scooter for my needs I am new to all this and after doing much research ,I came to the conclusion she is right, IF I was in wheel chair all the time the one they got for me would be good. I needed to get back and forth to the doctors office and do some shopping .It is to big to get in and out of Doctors office`s. It was not what I needed at all. I thought they were there to help me . I guess they were there to sell me the most pricey wheel chair they sold. I called them and they did not care. I thought the sales rep was there to help me. I am having a problem finding a lift and way to haul it. They should not take advantage of old people that are in need. Resolution Sought Give me what I need. I do not need a wheel Chair to use at home. I need what I asked for a way to get in and out of the Doctors offices. I feel Like I was taken advantage of.
