REMI has installed an elevator during a renovation of the property being fully aware that it would be used as a Bed and Breakfast. When the elevator stopped working they sent a technician who determined that the problem was caused by a faulty assembly of the electronic components. The technician removed a failed relay and made the elevator work again without it saying that he would come later to install the relay as it was essential for the safe operation of the elevator. He never came back and all my requests to have the technician come were ignored. Then hydraulics began leaking and when I called for service to fix the leak REMI refused, saying that their elevators are residential and the elevator I have is installed in the commercial building. I called another elevator company that determined that REMI installation violated the code and first it need to be corrected before any work can be done because of the liability issue. To bring the installation to the code would cost close to $3000. I agreed, but now this company change its mind and does not want to do the work. There is no other company that wants to do the work and I am stuck with the not working elevator as it stopped working again. REMI does not answer my emails and not returning my calls. Resolution Sought I need REMI to bring the installation to the building code and make the elevator operational again.
