Appling for a loan that turned out to be 16,214 28 I was paid down to 9,180 and told that my payments would be 345 amount from 340 that I was paying, now how do I owe $6000 more on 9,180. Resolution Sought I didn't understand the terms of the loan before I signed paper work, nor precedent to any loan or credit transaction.

Dear BCA Complaint Department: Thank you for your correspondence dated December 20, 2023. It is our goal at Republic Finance, LLC ("Republic Finance") to provide excellent customer service and we welcome the opportunity to address the concerns of our customers. Please allow this to serve as Republic Finance's response to Complaint. As requested by the BCA guidelines, I have left all personal identifying information, including the consumer's name, out of this response. Instead, we refer to the consumer as "the Consumer." The Consumer filed a complaint with a federal regulator, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB"), regarding the same matter on December 18, 2023, which is substantially the same as this complaint that she filed with the BCA. Republic Finance is in the process of an investigation and will respond to that complaint with the CFPB upon completion of the investigation. The Consumer will receive a notification from the federal regulator when the company response is submitted by Republic Finance. Dear BCA Complaint Department: Republic Finance can confirm that a final response was submitted to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB") on December 29, 2023. The Consumer can go read the final response of the investigation completed by Republic Finance to the CFPB. We have nothing further to provide for this matter and consider this matter resolved.

I get a loan, $3496.46, Finance charge $1507.54, Administrative Fee, $100. Total paid with 36 payments at $139, $5004.00. I will pay this loan off in 18 months or less and they still is charging me as if I took the 36 months. Half the time should save you some financing fees. And the financing percent is more. Why? And how did they get the amount? It stated you maybe entitled to refund of part of finance charge. Resolution Sought Why? And how did they get the amount? The Consumer filed a complaint with a state regulator, the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner ("TX OCCC"), regarding the same matter on May 23, 2022, which is substantially the same as this complaint that she filed with the BCA. Republic Finance completed its investigation of and responded to that complaint with the TX OCCC on June 3, 2022, regarding the resolution reached with the Consumer.
