I'm a 24-year-old college student who recently graduated this past May. I'm writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the 2012 Chevy Equinox I purchased from Rev Motors approximately two years ago. At the time of purchase, I noticed a concerning sound coming from the vehicle and brought it back to the dealership immediately. They assured me it was nothing serious and claimed to have fixed it. This happened just before the expiration of the three-month limited warranty. Unfortunately, the sound persisted, and despite noticing it, I was extremely busy juggling both work and college responsibilities. Even my father pointed out the issue, but I didn't have the time or resources to pursue it further until now. After graduating, I finally had the opportunity to bring the vehicle to a trusted service station. After an inspection, the mechanic called me in to deliver devastating news: the vehicle is undriveable and cannot be safely repaired. The underside of the car is severely rusted to the point where parts can literally be pulled off by hand. According to the mechanic, this level of corrosion takes years to develop—far beyond the two years I've owned the vehicle. It is shocking and distressing to know that I was sold a car in such a deteriorated condition, especially as a student making significant financial commitments. I am still making monthly payments on a vehicle that is now completely unusable, through no Resolution Sought I am seeking accountability from Rev Motors for selling a car that was clearly not roadworthy at the time of purchase. I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter can be resolved, whether through reimbursement, cancellation of the remaining loan balance, or another form of support. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely,
