Requested that Revolut submit a chargeback claim for unauthorized transactions on my account. Just a few hours later they denied my claim to submit the chargeback. I asked customer service why were my claims denied and they said the team found no evidence of fraudulent activity. I asked them to send me the evidence they used to come to this conclusion. The agent wrote back "Thank you for your patience, Jennifer. Actually, our team could not provide any document supporting it as of now. However, they should be sending you an official email directly to confirm the status of the chargeback rejection, please kindly wait as it should be reaching you soon". So the only reason they denied my claim was because they did not want to deal with it. I thought under Regulation E they are required to handle this. I also got an email 10 minutes after that telling me the claims were denied and to contact customer support if I want to review the evidence used to reach this conclusion and so I did and this was the response " Unfortunately, in this case, they can only provide an email confirmation since the case could not be disputed by them. It is not the case, Jennifer. Since they do not have dispute rights in this case they could not proceed with it and hence they do not have the documents under VISA/MasterCard regulations. So then I asked to show me where it states they do not have dispute rights and his response was " Unfortunately, as a support executive, I cannot show you this information Resolution Sought I would like them to do their job and honor my request to submit my chargebacks

On June 10, 2022, I sent a payment of $1,000, via Revolut's payment link option, to my husband's bank account in Brazil. He never received it, and my bank, Wells Fargo, has already done an investigation to see where the money has gone; they found nothing. My husband contacted his bank and provided the transfer confirmation from Revolut but they also could not find evidence of the money arriving. Now he has filed a complaint through the Brazilian government with his bank, and I am filing this complaint to cover all bases so we can find out where this money is and get it back. My husband's name is Arthur Alves de Souza Pacheco. Resolution Sought Reimburse the lost $1,000 to my account.
