I'm not positive on an amount because nobody will tell me. I'm not sure what I even owe them for. It's all a mystery and they got away with garnishing my pay check. I did not know about a court date or that I was being sued, how can this happen. I am losing my job over this and I'm furious. Resolution Sought If I have a product they are suing me over I will return it. If I owed them they should have sent me a bill monthly or something. Take the interest off, I'm guessing there is interest attached. I called to pay this off and they won't tell me anything.

I called to cancel the contact within 24 hours. They were closed it was a weekend. I called Monday which was a holiday. By the time I reached RFFC they told me I had 3 days to cancel. I asked multiple times for Charity to come back and get the smoke alarms or to provide an address to ship them to and I was ignored. Resolution Sought I want refunded and the report to collections and my credit score to be removed.

RFFC has investigated this account please read our response. The Seller of this contract is Rocky Mountain Family Fire LLC, a distributor of home safety products, which then chose to assign the Retail Installment Contract to RFFC Financial LLC, a finance company. Rocky Mountain Family Fire would be the business the Buyer needed to cancel this transaction with utilizing the three day right of rescission provided on the contract as Rocky Mountain Family Fire was the original Seller. The Wyoming Retail Installment Contract transaction was signed and dated on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021. The contract conspicuously provides the legal Notice of Cancellation to the Buyer, Ms. Moody, giving her the necessary information of how to timely cancel the transaction no later than Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021. There was no known 2021 federal or state holiday during this period of time where either office would have been closed. The cancellation specifies it to be in writing per the methods provided. Ms. Moody did call RFFC on Dec. 13, 2021 and left a message requesting a return call which was placed to her Dec. 14, 2021. RFFC advised Ms. Moody she was past her cancellation period and for any product issues she would need to contact the Seller of which we gave her the distributor's phone number. We do not have a "Charity" in our office but maybe Ms. Moody means that was from calling Rocky Mountain Family Fire and speaking with them. If Ms. Moody could provide proof of her mailed or delivered copy of the rescission or telegram of such to the business Rocky Mountain Family Fire, RFFC Financial would gladly reopen this investigation. Ms. Moody failed to make timely payments on the Retail Installment Contract assigned to RFFC Financial which resulted in collections efforts. Her account is now with an outside collection firm, McNeil & Meyers, in an effort to receive payment. Ms. Moody should contact them directly at 1(800)571-4396 to work out a payment plan.
