My mom, 91 years old, purchased a new wall mount gas furnace. It was installed but started tripping the hi- limit switch everytime after doing a reset on the switch. The seller did 5 service calls to no avail. My nephew called a different repair company after being told seller would not or could not repair it. It has not been repaired to date. Today the gas company Red flagged the unit as it's blowing the exhaust in to the house said that the unit is unsafe with the carbon dioxide being blown into living quarters. I called the company and only got a answer machine. Left message for them to call me and that they either need to fix it or replace it with a working unit. Resolution Sought Replace the unit with a working unit. Or refund the money

Consumer contacted Business Consumer Alliance to report "Manufacturer supplied heat exchanger. Richner heating and air conditioning company installed it in wall mount furnace. So far it's been working okay. The gas sensor hasn't gone off yet. The reset button has not tripped due to the exhaust problem it had as of yet".
