Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. I was informed that a used vehicle I was interested in buying was only sold "as is" and was not inspected by the dealership. I was then told that I could have it inspected by an outside mechanic if I placed a $200 hold on the vehicle. I was informed that the $200 would be applied to the purchase of the vehicle if I chose to, and if I was advised not to purchase the vehicle by a mechanic due to engine or transmission concerns, the amount would be refunded. I was advised by the mechanic not to purchase the vehicle citing multiple concerns with the engine/transmission, videos and a physical tour of these concerns was included in the inspection. Upon seeking a refund from Ride Auto I was told that the mechanic I chose was lying to me and I would not be receiving the refund. Ride Auto proceeded to accuse the mechanic of multiple violations without any proof. All communications have been recorded on text. Mo refund has been issued as of today, they refuse. Resolution Sought Refund the $200
