I would really like to speak with someone about this to explain more, however I will make a long story short on here. I had attempted to pay off a building that I had leased through Riverbend rentals in June of 2023. I was never informed that by paying online ahead all of my payments to pay off the building, that all of the money would be put into a holding account instead of applying straight to my bill. After several disputes of going back and forth, they refuse to accept responsibility for not informing that either on the phone or in their contract. At this time, they are saying that I owe an additional $2,000 or more dollars for renting the building since June. I do not feel at fault or responsible for paying off the additional rental fees since they never informed me that my building was not paid off, they never informed me of the amount I still owed on the building, and they never informed me of the process with putting my money in and holding account instead of applying straight to the bill. They are currently saying I owe them and my bill is delinquent when I have over $8,000 in a holding account and they're not sending me any records of that information. I do not want to pay any more money to this business until this dispute is corrected. Resolution Sought I would like them to take responsibility for the lack of information that they provided me with on paying off my building. I will admit that I need to pay one month's worth of rental fees but I will not pay for the seven full months that they are requesting. They did not inform me of things properly and it is not fair for me to take that fault.
