Roto Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup reviews

My rating for that company is less than 1/2 a star. I noticed that this plumber was intentionally attempting to overcharge me.

I scheduled a plumber from Roto rooter to come to my home estimate to repair a whole and a pipe which needed to be repaired, the plumber look at the job and quoted me a price of $869.00. I asked him how long with this job take he stayed it to hours, so I ask them why would this job cost $434.00 an hour he said because this is his price for two hours of work? He then said "I could take all day if that's what you want". When I noticed that this plumber was intentionally attempting to overcharge me, I told him I was no longer interested in his service. After speaking with a Roto rooter representative / supervisor, he stated that their fee was $329.00 dollars an hour. Although the representative appeared interested in hearing my part of the complaint it was obvious he was justifying the plumbers actions. He acknowledged the plumber did estimate my job to take two hours and that it would cost $869 but went on to say "the plumber have the ability to charge whatever he chooses based on what he see", Clearly ignored their supposedly hourly price rate.
My rating for that company is less than 1/2 a star. The only thing I was remotely satisfied with was their punctual arrival but due to the amount of money they were attempting to cheat me out of, that may have explain the punctual arrival time.
