Company Response

Company called stating customer purchased a 2016 Volvo V-60 on 06/17/2021. The vehicle passed state inspections as well as their inspection. The problem with sensor on tire came up a month after the purchase of the vehicle. She took in the vehicle in, company evaluated it. At that point it appeared it just needed recalibration, which is very common nothing that will impact the drivability of the car. Fast forward, again sensor problem came up with the tire, this was a few months later and customer also mentioned she needed tires. At that time it was determined that the sensor problem would be addressed when she purchased her tires. This was a maintenance related item. The tires were purchased in June 2022. On or about beginning of May 2022 she also mentioned there was a battery light that came on. A battery is normally a maintenance issue. She needed a battery and customer was concerned about how much battery was. Company agreed to put in a battery for her at no cost just to help out customer. The tire sensor problem was not addressed when the tires were done in June 2022 like she stated she would get done. Company spoke to customer about the diagnostic of the steering unit; customer said she had YouTube it. Customer could not provide proof of a proper diagnostic from a shop. Company referred customer to one of their shops, told her they would charge her $150 for diagnostic however she can put that claim through her warranty. Company has emailed all the warranty information, all paperwork available for her as she requested. This was also all text to her in photos as well as mailed out a copy via certified mail. Company has done everything on their power to help, and referred her to getting her car diagnosed and contracting her warranty company to get the problem fix and not have to pay money out of her pocket.
