Show the real price not an average.

It seems all cruise lines state the pricing online is average per person and they state that in small print in a tiny box next to the lowest fare on the first page of a cruise. (Of course you just look at the price and click, but puzzled by average wording.) When you go to book at the price listed per deck and you take the 50 discount off the price for the second person, you find that is not correct. (average is not mentioned again after first page) Example: I chose Royal Caribbean inside cabin at 509 price listed and 1/2 would be 255 for 2nd. With taxes the total would be 962. But it is not right because that is an average price shown I was told. Real price 723 a person 1/2 428 and taxes 199 brings cruise price to 1217.76. Imagine my surprise when I saw a $255 difference. It is misleading to the consumer stating average because you don't know the real price until you are ready to pay. Royal Caribbean told me if they published the real price, nobody would call them because their prices would look high compared to other lines. However, they really aren't since they publish the real price and not the average like another cruise line. The final rate would be comparable, but no come on. All lines should stop this practice and just publish the real price. If their service is so good, they don't need to play this game and Royal is good. I just don't like this come on and waste my time with trying to find the real cost up front.
