I am a customer of SRP. I am on their EZ3 plan which is choosing peak hours from 3-6pm or 4-7pm. This plan has you choose a comfort temperature and pre cool your home 3 degrees below your comfort temp 3 hour prior to your peak and then during your peak raise it to 3 degrees higher than your comfort temp. I had it from 3-6pm however my home would not pre cool at all and at 6pm my air conditioner would not cool either until after the excessive heat got below 110 degrees after 8pm. So I changed my peak hours to 4-7pm for 2 months during the excessive heat months. I called today to change my peak hours back to 3-6pm now that we are under 110 due to me having to be up at 3:30am I want to be able to cook for my family before I have to go to sleep. You can't cook during your peak hours. They told me if I change it I can't change it back to 4-7pm for 12 months which really impacts my quality of life because we know next July-Aug it will be over 110 degrees again and I will need to have a 4-7pm peak hour. This company does not work for their customers. They are the most unhelpful company I have ever had to have for electricity. When I buy a home in the next couple years I am going to make sure it's in a location that I don't have to use this incompetent company. I am not requesting to change my plan at all, I just need to be able to alter the time of my peak hours in July and in Sep annually due to excessive heat. SRP 100 not willing to help. Resolution Sought Work with me instead of saying no. No is not a good word in the customer service industry. You have to be willing to work with your customers.

I want to be able to use the 3-6 peak hours all year except July and August due to excessive heat because my home does not cool down at 6pm during excessive heat and during those 2 months be able to use the 4-7 peak hours. This is all I am asking for.
