Entered a contract with Sam the Concrete Man for 4700.00. Paid the contractor in full. The day the work was completed, I contacted the owner with several complaints including: destruction of neighbor's yard, failure to clean up work area, and the concrete slab had water pooling toward the foundation of my house, and the waterproof sealant that I paid $200 additional dollars for was peeling of the cement pad on day 2 after the job was completed. Owner said he would have the cement contractor come back and repair. I have contacted Scott Leonard, the owner of Sam the concrete man local franchise on 11 occasions and each time he tells me someone will be there to correct the issues by the end of that week. That has been going on for 2 months. I have taken days off work to be home and available to meet with the cement contractor who had been scheduled to be at my home. I was to have a hot tub delivered and placed on this pad, but since it is not level and appropriately draining water, the hot tub cannot be placed. I am having to delay delivery and will soon incur a holding fee. Resolution Sought I would either like my money back or the company to simply correct the problems with the work they did on that pad. If Sam the Concrete Man does not correct the issues, I would like them to incur the costs I have to apply another company to rectify the situation.
