We ordered the part for the customer 3 separate times and every time she would schedule she would not come in, so we would send the part back after 30 days 3 separate times. When we did get the repair scheduled with the customer another person dropped the car off. We did the repair same day while the person that dropped it off and waited. During the repair the tech and service advisor asked for the person that dropped to come back a look at the trim piece on the side of the shifter and show that it was broke prior to the repair. He said that it was like that because they had it at a different repair shop a few days ago. When we got the complaint about the trim piece being broke we said we had 3 witnesses see that the customer that brought the car in went back to look at the vehicle. When the customer called about the trim piece we said that we brought the person that took the car in to come and look at it prior, then we would get swore at then hung up. When I met with the customer she said that she took pictures of the trim piece prior to bring it here and now it was broke. I said perfect if you have a picture of it this will make it really easy because if we truly broke it, that I would pay for it. The customer said that she would not show me the picture because I don't believe her. Not sure what else I could do if you have a picture of the trip piece not broken prior to repair that makes it pretty simple. So, then I got swore at and said that the pictures are her personal property and she will not show me.
