I contacted Scroggins Law Office 09/2022 to get a birth certificate corrected to obtain a passport. The lawyer has failed to contact me to give me a court date to appear before a judge to correct my name on my birth certificate. His failure has led me to believe that he cannot take care of this situation for me. He said he would contact me within 24 hours which he failed to do. Then in the first part of February 2023, his assistant said I had a court date and my lawyer, Phil would be contacting me in a week. As of this date I have not been contacted or given a sit down appointment with any Scroggins attorneys. I am filing this complaint hoping for some kind of response from Scroggins Law Office. Resolution Sought I just want a court date so that I can go to Missouri and obtain a corrected birth certificate so I can get a passport.
