I called select plumbing on 1-18-24. My water was not working. I was billed 2120.00 for two days of work. 3.5 hours of labor the first day. 8.5 hours the second day. My water is still not working. I was never given an estimate or prewarned about the cost of work being done. I was sent a bill and now i am unable to pay the amount. I was taken advantage of. I am an elderly woman with health conditions. Resolution Sought I am asking for a refund do to the fact that the business did not tell me the cost of repairs being done and how much that would cost, or if i was able to afford this being done.

Our company responded to an emergency call that waterlines were frozen and the customer had no water. We responded and spent numerous hours over a two day period during subzero temperatures thawing her frozen lines. We then discovered numerous leaks in those lines, as a result of damage from the freezing temperatures. There was no way in advance to know how much time it would take, nor how much it would cost. Although we discounted the initial invoice by a substantial amount to help the customer and even offered a payment plan, the customer advised she would be reporting us to her attorney and refused to pay. She has paid nothing toward this bill, as of this time.
