In April 2023, I paid for a treatment ($1800 for six sessions) from Semblance Med Spa located at 59 North Pearl Street in Albany, NY. I received/completed the six sessions over a two-week period starting on April 13, 2023, through May 2, 2023, from Semblance Med Spa - I had no issue with the six treatments as I received my treatments, and the staff member was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. With this type of treatment, it is recommended to do 'maintenance' treatment and that involves one treatment monthly for six months and after that one treatment quarterly. I completed two maintenance treatments in June and July, and I tried to schedule future monthly treatment sessions, but I have been unsuccessful scheduling the remaining maintenance sessions as Semblance will not respond to me. There was no issue between med spa and client and that is why I am completely baffled why they are not calling me back. Are they out of business? Perhaps they did not want to provide me or my health insurance company with the doctor TIN number (my health insurance advised there was confusion/mismatch with Dr license number AND location associated with doctor license number since I was submitting to my health insurance because I have a medical script from my primary care doctor for this treatment and I wanted to submit the $1800 that I paid in hopes that it can be applied toward my OON deductible. My health insurance company has put my claim on hold since I am unable to receive. Resolution Sought Refund.
