Customer Complaint

They did not suck out the septic tank. They only disturb the dirt and took pictures of the hose in the hole. 2 Days Later my tank is back full which is impossible considering the amount of water that a septic tank holds Resolution Sought I would like for them to come back out and do the job that they were paid to do. I do not have $400 to give away and there is no way possible the septic tank is back full 2 days after they serviced it

Unfortunately, this complaint is due to a lack of understanding in how septic systems work from a regular customer. The customer has scheduled multiple pump outs with us in recent history to which we pump the septic tank and recommend installing new leach lines, as the tank is only holding water that can not flow to the failed leach lines. The problem is less severe in dry months. However, when the ground gets saturated, the system works against itself by allowing water to flow into the tank from the leach lines. We see this often with failed leach lines. While the ground is saturated, we have witnessed water flowing into the tank from the leach field pipe and filling the tank back up in less than 1 hour. The statement that a septic tank can not fill up in 2 days is simply not true and is unfair to make these accusations towards our business. The average home uses more than 200 gallons of water per day. The average home with less than 5 bedrooms has a 1000 gallon septic tank. If the system is not failing, the tank will up with water within 5 days from the home only and begin flowing to the leach field again. The customers septic tank filled up in 2 days due to a combination of usage from the home and back flow from the leach field due to ground water saturation. Septic Connection has performed all work that has been requested and paid for by the customer. It is regretful to hear of such a complaint with one of our loyal customers. We have pumped the tank on multiple occasions within months apart. In our local climate we have wet season during fall and winter. Once the ground becomes saturated again as it was at the time of this pump out, the customer will experience the same issues with any company that is called to pump the tank, unless new leach lines are installed. We recommend consulting with a septic company in a similar climate that has no interest with or against Septic Connection LLC. These companies absolutely see this type of scenario often and will likely explain the situation in similar terms as this response.
