Service Electric Cable advertises channels on their full basic package, however once you get the package, the channels are not available. To get the desired channels, they charge an additional $12 a month. This is false advertising. Resolution Sought Service Electric should be forced change their advertising to reflect the true service, or issue refunds to all their customers. This is false advertising and is illegal.

I am enrolled with Electronic Broadband relief from the government because I'm low income and my bill was originally 77.00 monthly then a 50.00 dollar credit was applied to Service Electric for my internet. However, I have an intellectual disability and by accident I ordered a lifeline government phone ( which I canceled quickly) after not understanding that I would lose my EBB credit to service electric. I called Service Electric because I was accepted again for EBB 50.00 credit to Service electric and canceled my lifeline phone quickly and successfully. The lady from the billing department was rude when I explained im low income and made a mistake and though I quickly corrected it Service Electric is adding fees and charging me 153.92 with no exceptions. I'm filing a complaint because I'm eligible for the program for 50.00 a month off my bill and Service electric won't make any exceptions. I've been a loyal customer making my bills on time every month and in return they cannot help or make an exception on top of being rude. Resolution Sought Please look into my approval through the Electronic Broadband Service through the government please and help correct my payments with Service electric which was originally 77.00 minus 50.00 for government assistance for paying my internet please. If needed you could check with assurance wireless (Lifeline cell phone ) through the government to see I quickly canceled that service after realizing my mistake. I appreciate any help as my income is ssi and we are affected by Covid.
